The 26-Story Treehouse is about three kids named Andy, Terry, and Jill who are friends. Andy and Terry used to live in a 13-story treehouse but they added another 13 stories to make it a 26-story treehouse. Jill lives in a house on the other side of the woods. Andy and Terry need to write a story for their publisher really soon. They decided to write a story about how they met, but stuff kept distracting them and they couldn't finish writing it. Andy and Terry run into a lot of problems, like their sharks eating Terry's underpants and getting sick and an evil rainstorm that comes during the night.
I liked this book because these funny kids get captured by a mean pirate who makes them do crazy things, like clean the poop deck which actually has poop on it! I also like that Terry keeps doing goofy things which makes other funny things happen. My favorite part of the book is when Terry feeds his underpants to the man-eating sharks while he is trying to wash them. I can't wait to read the third book.
