Charlie & the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is about a boy named Charlie and a factory owner named Willie Wonka.

In the book, Charlie's dad reads the newspaper and it says that five kids are allowed to go into Willie Wonka's chocolate factory, if they find a golden ticket.  Grandpa Joe give Charlie 10 cents so he can go buy a Willie Wonka candy bar, but when he opened it, there wasn't a golden ticket inside.  Then, Charlie finds a dollar bill in the street.  He uses the dollar to buy a Willie Wonka candy bar.  When he opens it, there is still no golden ticket inside, so he got enough change back to get one more.  When opens the second one, he gets a ticket!

On the day Charlie goes into the factory, he meets Willie Wonka.  Then Willie Wonka shows the children where all the chocolate comes from.  During the tour, all the kids get lost except for Charlie.  The other kids are naughty and the Oompa Loompas sing about the naughty kids.  At the end, Willie Wonka tells Charlie that when he gets older, he can own the factory.
